Good Morning Mr. Dirac is the first chapter of the trilogy Vis Major – Bad Romance, a cycle of works dealing with absence, mourning and the transformation of matter. The work takes the form of a pseudo-itinerant installation: a 17-meter truck parked within the historic urban space. Its trailer becomes a temporary interior, suspended between life and decomposition. Along the inner edges of the truck, 500 cut flower stems are placed in water-filled vases, while the centre of the space remains empty, recalling the presence of a coffin. On the inner walls of the trailer three projectors display a video of the same flowers in full bloom. While the flowers inside the truck gradually decay in the heat of the enclosed space, the projected flowers remain permanently alive. This contrast establishes a tension between two states of matter: vitality and decay, renewal and inevitable disintegration. Each day the interior of the truck is watered, creating a thin layer of water on the floor that reflects both the decomposing flowers and the projected images.

Inspired by the concept of the “Dirac Sea”, a theoretical model in which emptiness contains latent energy, the work unfolds as a space where presence and absence coexist, a container for something that has already exhausted its life.
