TABLE(AU)

The work originates as a staged dinner that mirrors the structure of a familiar bourgeois ritual: a table, a group of participants, and the social choreography that governs polite interaction. At first the situation remains controlled, almost ceremonial. Gradually, however, the codes that regulate the scene begin to dissolve. The dinner shifts into a playful and chaotic dimension in which gestures become exaggerated, food is scattered, and the order of the table collapses. What begins as a social ritual slowly transforms into a collective action.

The tablecloth becomes the surface on which the event leaves its traces: wine stains, fragments of food and the footprints of the participants accumulate until the table turns into a painting produced by the bodies around it.
