The sound installation comes to life in the streets of the city. From bars, venues, shops, and loudspeakers placed in public spaces, the work expands its reach, carried further by the wind.

At the center of the city stands an abandoned crane beside a deserted slaughterhouse - a place once filled daily with the grunts and cries of animals being killed, now reduced to silence. On a summer evening at 9:00 pm, from the loudspeakers atop the crane, the sounds of that slaughterhouse resonate across the city for about one minute.

Twenty seconds after silence falls - a silence that grips the audience following the unsettling noise - an eerie laughter begins to spread. It pours out of the speakers on the crane, from the city's bars and shops, from every publicly accessible place. Hysterical and strange, the laughter envelops the entire city, carried even to the outskirts by the wind pushing the sound far beyond its source.

Through the contagious nature of human reactions, the laughter gradually becomes real, infecting the people inhabiting the city that August evening. This automatic mechanism plays a central role in the unfolding of the work. After about fifteen minutes of the twenty-minute piece, the laughter - initially spontaneous and "healthy" - stretches beyond its origin. It transforms into an uncontrollable reaction that generates discomfort, returning the public to the primal unease of the first sound they heard.
